Have nothing to do with the [evil] things that people do, things that belong to the darkness. Instead, bring them out to the light... [For] when all things are brought out into the light, then their true nature is clearly revealed...

Black Lives Matter Ideology Rebuffed by Black Scholar

This article was published by The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Wednesday, July 13, 2016:

Founded by Marxists and serving as one of many front groups for the Freedom Road Socialist Organization (FRSO), the Black Lives Matter movement’s primary purpose is to overthrow the government of the United States and to replace it with a totalitarian dictatorship. One of the stumbling blocks to BLM and FRSO, happily, is the fact that local police are outside of federal control.

If local police can be replaced with federal or national police forces, the rest is easy:

UN Demands “Robust Gun Control” After Orlando Terror

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Wednesday, June 15, 2016:

Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights

Responding to the Islamist terror attack in Orlando that killed 50 people in a “gun-free zone,” the United Nations and its “High Commissioner for Human Rights” claimed again Tuesday that the U.S. government has an “obligation” to implement “robust gun regulation.” According to UN human-rights chief Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, the terrorist massacre and other killings are a “direct result” of the U.S. government’s adherence to the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment, which protects the God-given right of Americans to keep and bear arms from infringement.

However, critics ridiculed both the idea and the UN itself, noting, among other facts, that the attack occurred in a “gun-free zone.” In light of the controversial remarks, gun-rights leaders also reiterated calls for the United States to withdraw from the UN and stop funding it with American taxpayer dollars.

The scandal-plagued UN human rights boss, currently under fire worldwide for persecuting whistleblowers to protect child-raping UN “peace” troops, used multiple outright falsehoods to demonize the rights of Americans. Among other claims, the Islamic UN bureaucrat insisted that

Trump vs. Clinton on Gun Control & Second Amendment

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Monday, May 23, 2016:

Dan Gross, the president of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, perceived as far back as last October that gun control (i.e., control of people owning guns) would be a key issue in the 2016 presidential election, and Trip Gabriel picked up on it in his comments in the New York Times this weekend. Said Gross: “This issue is at a tipping point. You’re going to hear about it as a differentiator for the first time in decades.… Change is in the air.”

Gabriel is right about one thing:

Sign from the John Birch Society advocating US withdrawal from the United Nations

It was 57 years ago at the Indianapolis home of Miss Marguerite Dice when businessman Robert Welch began his marathon two-day lecture that launched The John Birch Society. There were 11 friends and business associates present and they listened intently as the philosopher-historian and great lover of America told them during 17 hours why they should join with him in an organization designed to preserve the American dream. Most agreed on the spot to be the Society’s first members and the organization was born on December 9, 1958.

A child prodigy who had read a nine-volume history of the world at age seven and asked for more, Welch was

Pope, Others Call for Addressing Climate Change Now

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Wednesday, September 23, 2015:

It didn’t take the Pope long to bring his message about the threat of climate change back into the news. Speaking at the White House on Wednesday morning, the pontiff, who apparently views carbon dioxide as a pollutant causing runaway global warming, said:

This month marks the 30th anniversary of the The New American. On such an occasion, it is appropriate to reflect on the magazine’s track record, from the accuracy of our facts and the soundness of our analysis to the stories we unearthed and the influence we’ve exerted.

We are proud of our track record. But there is one recurring theme that seems to be particularly striking when reviewing the articles we’ve published, and that is the extent to which we have accurately projected the lines

Environmentalists Lose More Credibility With Global-warming Claims

This article first appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Friday, April 3, 2015:

Global warming graphic

While the national media was focused on California Governor Jerry Brown’s announcement of his state’s first mandatory cuts in water use by residents due to the ongoing drought (allegedly caused by man-made climate change), little was said about two Gallup polls and a study out of Germany showing those concerns about global warming to be greatly overblown.

The paper out of Germany’s Max Plank Institute for Meteorology concluded that gases blamed for the earth’s allegedly continuing climb in temperature have far less impact on that climb than previously estimated. Those estimates have, as a result, been thrown into serious doubt, according to two climatologists from the Cato Institute who reviewed the study:

The UN Arms Control Treaty Meets the Gallup Poll

John Lott, author of More Guns, Less Crime

Last Friday, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs announced that its totalitarian Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) will become effective on Christmas Eve. The good news is that the treaty has no chance of being ratified by either the lame duck Senate this year or the 114th Senate next year.

Its terms are positively evil:

Gallup Poll: Homes Are Safer if Guns Are Present

This article first appeared at TheNewAmerican.com on Monday, November 10, 2014:

Residential area in Helena, Montana)

The latest Gallup Poll results announced on Friday that, for the first time since 2006, a majority of Americans think having a gun at home makes their home safer. Further, the gain is all across the board, politically and demographically. The poll results also serve to diminish still further the likelihood of additional gun control measures by governments, local and federal, as more and more Americans now have a vested interest in gun freedom.

According to Gallup, the percentage of Americans who believe having a gun at home makes the home safer has nearly doubled just since 2000, from 35 percent to 63 percent, while the number of those who think that the presence of a gun at home makes it more dangerous has fallen from

GOP Midterm Victories: The GOP’s Plan and Path

This article first appeared at TheNewAmerican.com on Wednesday, November 5, 2014:

Thanks to a groundswell of unhappiness over the economy, healthcare, a porous southern border, and increasing distrust of government in general, Republicans who were swept into office run the risk of thinking that Tuesday’s nearly complete sweep was a vote for them and their policies. As the Wall Street Journal noted, “Many voters said they cast [their] ballots more in opposition to one candidate than [in] support for the other.” New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, chairman of the Republican Governors Association, got it right: “The president took a beating last night!”

Republicans used the president’s increasing unpopularity to connect their opponents’ support for his policies like a millstone, dragging them down to defeat. This marks two mid-term defeats that, according to the Journal, “rank among the

New Black Panthers Flooding into Ferguson, Stoking riots

This article was first published at The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Wednesday, August 20, 2014:

New Black Panther Party

Members of the New Black Panther Party have been flooding into Ferguson, Missouri, to foment unrest, increase violence, and stoke the flames of racism. This is not theory, nor an overstatement. Continuous updates on its website confirm the group’s intentions and purposes:

All comrades are alive and well … unnamed men in ski masks blasting on the crowds … believed to be pigs agitating … slander campaign … from the assassins of Michael Brown….

Pigs tear-gassed the St. Louis residents … Panthers in the middle … riot gear … and returned push with bottles thrown, bricks, and available self-defense options….

This is the same revolutionary language leaders of the party used when invading the unhappy town of Sanford, Florida, back in 2012 following the shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. Three of them joined in a phone call to plan disruption and violence there:

[W]e got to suit up and boot up … and get prepared for the war that we’re in … this stuff got to boil over, and all your greats talked about that happened to be bloodshed involved with revolution – true revolution means some bloodshed, so there’s blood being spilled because there’s a new life that is beyond this bloodshed.

This reflects the revolutionary intents and purposes of the “party,” going back to its beginning. The ADL – the Jewish Anti-Defamation League – has had this gaggle of criminals on its radar for years, reporting that

Much of the NBPP’s ideology derives from the notion that African-Americans continue to suffer as a result of a racist white power structure that has oppressed them politically and economically since slavery. The primary perpetrators of this institutional racism, according to the NBPP, are whites, whom it views as ultimately responsible for Black exploitation; Jews, whom it sees as wielding disproportionate control of political and economic affairs; and law enforcement, which it sees as facilitating racial injustice on the ground.

If they were operating alone it would be bad enough. But this revolutionary collection of collectivists has a lot of company: there are the “tourist looters,” leftovers from the Occupier movement, the United Nations, and, inevitably, Eric Holder on orders from his boss.

When reporters from the Washington Post were interviewing an officer with the Ferguson Police Department, he showed them a sheaf of more than 50 arrest reports and said: “It’s like looting tourism. It’s like they are spending their gas money to come down here and steal.”

Occupiers with nothing better to do have also shown up, instructing protestors how to make home-made gas masks out of hospital masks and duct tape.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations has also gotten into the act, demanding the local authorities in Ferguson “abide by international standards in dealing with demonstrators.” As Alex Newman pointed out in his article at The New American, that must mean that the S-G wants them to treat protestors like China treated protestors in Tiananmen Square in 1989. Or like Putin treats protesters in his new soviet state of Russia. Noted Alex:

Most of the UN’s member regimes are notorious for human rights abuses. The UN’s military forces, called “peacekeepers” in a perfect example of Orwellian thinking, are marauding all over the world while engaging in heinous abuses – especially against Africans and their descendants.

All of this is obvious to Ron Johnson, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Captain who is trying to keep a lid on things. He reported Tuesday morning that 78 more people had been arrested Monday night, noting that only four of them were from Ferguson. Fifty-six of those arrested were from outside Ferguson, while another 18 were from states like California, New Jersey, Texas, and Illinois. He said:

Our officers came under heavy gunfire. This was not an act of protesters. This was an act of violent criminals.

Protestors are peaceful and respectful. They don’t clash with police. They don’t throw Molotov cocktails.

To make the point, he held up two handguns and a Molotov cocktail his people had seized while making those arrests.

Johnson had little support from another outsider, a ward committeeman from St. Louis. Anthony Bell expressed sympathy and support for the protestors, claiming that they were just boys letting off a little steam:

To get them to go home is going to be difficult. The young people who come into the world nowadays, they have minds of their own….

[They’re just] releasing frustrations. We’ve got to let them vent.

Boys will be boys, don’t you know? And besides, who is this we? He’s from St. Louis, ten miles down the road from Ferguson.

One observer with no apparent agenda showed up to see what was happening and then wrote about his experience. Marc Lamont Hill, a contributing writer for CNN, commented:

It was a peaceful rally. I was at the rally, at the church….

I was standing there talking to them. They said they were committed to having a peaceful march….

Two things seemed apparent to me: one was that [some] young people … moved beyond an area that [was restricted]: the command center. They attempted to enter that area … somebody did.

Second … there is a small group of people who are doing something different and out-of-step from everyone else. They’re out-of-towners. The ones [in that group that] I spoke to are actually from Oakland. I saw them last night past curfew. I saw them this morning. They are the ones who initiated violence.

All of this was just too much temptation for Obama to stand, and he ordered his enforcer-in-chief, Eric Holder, to see for himself what he could do to keep the kettle boiling in Ferguson. He is due to arrive on Thursday to confer with FBI officials in person (such conversations by telephone are just too unsatisfactory, don’t you know). This is the administration that provided Ferguson police with leftover military equipment and then criticized them for using it in dispersing angry crowds. But, never mind, he is on a mission of peace and love and so forth….

The media has also had a serious hand in making things worse in Ferguson. Fox News Channel’s Howie Kurtz, host of “MediaBuzz,” saw Huffington Post’s coverage – if it can be called that – of events in Ferguson, and called them out for it:

Some liberal outlets [are] creating almost a lynch mob mentality around this. [For example] the Huffington Post today, screaming banner headline “Arrest Him.”

Now, [neither] the Huffington Post, nor you or I, knows exactly what happened [in Ferguson during the shooting]. When you cross that line into becoming an advocate … demanding that somebody be prosecuted before the facts are in, while the investigations are going on, you’re grandstanding, you’re trying to keep the story alive….

Of course they are. Here’s another one of those opportunities not to be missed, to promote their agenda: more government, preferably at the national if not the international level. To do that, the local police must be denigrated, embarrassed, and harassed in their efforts to keep the peace. Their officers must be threatened, and the officer involved in the shooting of Michael Brown must move out-of-state to an undisclosed location to keep himself and his family safe.

Riots will continue in Ferguson until the truth comes out. There is strong evidence that the officer, Darren Wilson, was defending himself “in the gravest extreme” from a monster fresh from stealing and then intimidating a convenience store clerk who dared to challenge him. Still on an adrenalin high, it’s likely that Brown didn’t take kindly to the officer’s request that he stop blocking traffic and instead walk on the sidewalk. Once the truth comes out, all the miscreants and criminals and troublemakers will disappear, having accomplished what they came for, which has nothing to do with the truth.

More Proof that US Climate Temperature data is being Manipulated

Cover of "The Real Global Warming Disaste...

Writing in his Real Science blog, Steven Goddard explained how he found out that NASA had altered US temperature readings to show a warming trend where none existed: he compared graphs published on NASA’s website in 1999 to those available today. He even set up an animation of the two temperature graphs to show the extent of the fraud.

He went further by exhuming quotes from climate changers who also have changed their opinions, including the infamous James Hansen. In 2003 Hansen authored a paper for the UN’s Framework Convention on Climate Change entitled “Can We Defuse the Global Warming Time Bomb?” in which he concluded that “halting global warming requires urgent, unprecedented international cooperation…” with the clear implication that

Deficit down, national debt up, more taxes needed say two “nonpartisan” groups

Two government reports issued in the last few days show that despite higher tax revenues, thanks to the tax increases signed into law by the president earlier this year, deficits are still sky-high and the national debt continues its inexorable climb into the stratosphere.

Although the deficit for the first eleven months of the 2013 fiscal year was down slightly compared to last year at this time, real progress towards a balanced budget remains elusive. Through August the federal government spent
