Have nothing to do with the [evil] things that people do, things that belong to the darkness. Instead, bring them out to the light... [For] when all things are brought out into the light, then their true nature is clearly revealed...

A Primer on the Kalashnikov AK-47 that killed or wounded 500 in Paris

This article was published by The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Monday, November 16, 2015:

More than 100 million Kalashnikov AK-47 fully automatic rifles are carried by military services, and extremist militants, in 106 countries around the world, because of their durability, low cost to produce, and ease of use. For Russia it is the single most profitable weapon in its arsenal, available on Europe’s black market for between $325 and $750. An upgrade is now available, bringing the price ever lower on older models.

Its use has caused

Democratic Debate: a Kabuki dance with Alice in Wonderland

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Wednesday, October 14, 2015:

Last night’s “debate” had one winner and six losers in showcasing the Democratic Party’s potential nominees for president in 2016: Hillary Clinton, according to all liberal commentators, was the winner going away.

The losers were everyone else on stage — Jim Webb, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, and Lincoln Chafee — plus Joe Biden, and the American taxpayer.

It was all Kabuki dance:

Where Did Sydney Jihadi Shooter Get a Handgun in “Gun-free” Australia?

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Tuesday, October 6, 2015:

Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney, Australia.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney, Australia.

Following the deliberate, cold-blooded murder of a Sydney, Australia police force employee by a 15-year-old jihadi last Friday, local authorities have been trying to find the answers to many questions.

On Friday afternoon, 4:30 p.m. local time, Farhad Jabar Khalil Mohammad, dressed in Islamic garb, walked up behind Curtis Cheng as he was leaving police headquarters in Parramatta on Sydney’s west side, pointed his handgun at the back of Cheng’s head, and squeezed the trigger. Cheng was dead before his body hit the ground. The teen then danced a jig in the street, shouting “Allahu Akbar!” Constables from headquarters who rushed outside found themselves targeted by the teen before they returned fire, killing the assassin.

The investigation, which is ongoing, determined that the youth,

This month marks the 30th anniversary of the The New American. On such an occasion, it is appropriate to reflect on the magazine’s track record, from the accuracy of our facts and the soundness of our analysis to the stories we unearthed and the influence we’ve exerted.

We are proud of our track record. But there is one recurring theme that seems to be particularly striking when reviewing the articles we’ve published, and that is the extent to which we have accurately projected the lines

Hillary’s Muslim Advisor Being Investigated for Fraud and Theft

This article was published at The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Friday, August 7, 2015:

Poor old Hillary Clinton, she just can’t catch a break. If it’s not emails, it’s contributions from foreigners seeking influence. If it’s not Benghazi, it’s her affected southern accent.

It’s called, officially, “political corruption” which is defined as “the use of powers of government for illegitimate private gain, which may include bribery, extortion, selling of favors, patronage, graft, and embezzlement.”

But at least she’s not guilty of treason, at least not yet. But her favored personal advisor – her “woman Friday” or “body woman” as some call her – Huma Abedin, isn’t so lucky.

More Baggage for Hillary: Her Advisor Ordered to Reveal E-mails

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Thursday, August 6, 2015:

Last week a federal judge ordered Hillary Clinton’s long-time friend and closest associate, Huma Abedin, to attest, under penalty of perjury, that she has turned over all of her e-mails to the Justice Department. The order also applied to another Clinton aide, Cheryl Mills, who also was using a private e-mail account to do State Department business, just like her boss. But the focus is on Abedin, who has caught flak from many quarters over the years for her and her family’s close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, a Muslim revolutionary organization.

In addition to the judge’s order, Senator Chuck Grassley, (R-Iowa), chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has been investigating Abedin’s employment “arrangement” at the State Department, whereby Abedin also

Doing the Right Thing – and Paying the Price

English: Slide 49/50 of The Koranic World View As It Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military, a presentation made by Nidal Malik Hasan during a symposium of U.S. Army physicians at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White knew exactly what he was doing. After 13 years in the Navy, being responsible for those under his command and knowing the increasing threat from jihadis who have increasingly targeted US military personnel and facilities, he decided it was more important to do what was right even if doing it might jeopardize his career.

That’s why he was carrying a personal firearm on duty as commander of the Naval service center in Chattanooga at 10:30am on Thursday, July 16, when jihadi terrorist Muhammad Abdulazeez (referred to from here on either as the “attacker” or as “MA”) rammed his rented silver Mustang through the gates and starting shooting.

White saw him coming, pulled his firearm, and returned fire. The autopsy report to be released shortly will show whether or not any of his rounds hit MA. But one thing is certain:

FBI Finds Chattanooga Shooter’s Diary; Many Questions Unanswered

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Wednesday, July 22, 2015:

After retrieving and analyzing the Chattanooga shooter Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez’ diary, the FBI claimed that it still cannot find any direct connection to ISIS or that he “was inspired by the Islamic State” or the Koran. Instead, claims by the FBI were made that the shooter suffered from depression, entertained thoughts of suicide, was deeply in debt, and engaged in rampant and excessive use of drugs, marijuana, and alcohol. FBI agents also claimed that he had to use sleeping pills after the 12-hour night shifts where he worked.

But, after extensive analysis of his diary and interviews with the shooter’s parents, the FBI still couldn’t find a motive for his murder of military servicemen last Thursday. Even a “family spokesman” claimed that the shooter

The “black flag of jihad” as used by various Islamic terrorist organizations (since the late 1990s)

Narratives that Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez was a nice, polite, well-behaved, friendly, and funny young man of 24 appeared all across the mainstream media following his murderous attack on a military recruiting center in Chattanooga on Thursday that left four dead and three wounded. According to the media and the president, he was “acting alone” as a “lone wolf.”

Precious little was being said about the possibility of him being influenced by radical elements of his faith calling for Muslims to wage war against unbelievers. The media focused instead on his background:

HSBC Downsizing to Core Business: Money Laundering, Terror Funding

This article first appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Wednesday, June 10, 2015:

Officially, London’s Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), the world’s third-largest banking firm, is cutting costs to improve profits. The intended moves are for the benefit of the shareholders, asserted Stuart Gulliver, the bank’s chief executive on Tuesday: “We recognize that the world has changed and we need to change with it. I am confident that our actions will allow us to capture expected future growth opportunities and deliver further value to our shareholders.”

Unofficially, HSBC is going to ply its underground wares and provide its vast money-laundering services where its customers are mostly likely to reside in the years ahead:

Texas to Join Nine Other States with Anti-Sharia Law Bill Passed by Senate

Countries with Sharia rule

In August 2004 an alert Maryland transportation worker noticed a woman wearing a burka video-taping the supporting structures of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from an automobile. He conducted a traffic stop and discovered that the driver, a Muslim from Chicago, had an outstanding warrant in a case involving fundraising for the terrorist group Hamas.

The FBI obtained a search warrant of his home and found, in a sub-basement below the house’s foundation, more than 80 book boxes filled with archives belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood. It not only listed dozens of other radical Muslim groups operating across the country with connections to the group, but their marching orders as well:

On Thursday night, May 21, the Texas state senate passed a bill that would prevent any international law from being used in Texas civil courts in deciding disputes. Radio station WOAI characterized the bill as an “anti-sharia” bill, but state Senator Donna Campbell said that her bill doesn’t mention sharia law at all, just that it guarantees that no law from “foreign courts” would be used to override American law in settling civil matters.

When pressed for clarification about just which such laws she was concerned about, and could she provide an example, she whiffed: “No foreign law [specifically].… This just provides a context for judicial discretion … that we don’t trump Texas law, American law, with a foreign law regarding family law.”

Whether Campbell knew it or not, her bill, if signed into law by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, would make Texas the next

Glenn Beck Announces NRA Investigation of Grover Norquist

This article first appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Wednesday, March 18, 2015:

English: Television and radio host at CPAC in .

Right after Glenn Beck finished his radio show on Wednesday, March 11, he got a call from the National Rifle Association’s executive vice president, Wayne LaPierre. Following an hour-long conversation, Beck then wrote a letter to the NRA which it published on his website:

My audience knows that I have recently become concerned about alleged links of a member of the board of the National Rifle Association to Islamist groups that have ill intent towards the United States and its allies.

Loyal listeners knew exactly to whom Beck was referring: Grover Norquist, the founder of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR), a current NRA board member seeking reelection. Many listeners called the NRA, demanding that this offending board member be removed immediately from that position of trust and influence. As Beck wrote:

Obamnesty: A Tyrant’s Tool to Transform America

This article was just published in the latest subscribers-only issue of the McAlvany Intelligence Advisor newsletter:

This writer has frequently noted the accuracy of John Adams’ summary and dangers of the Founders’ Constitution when he said that it “was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” It was designed, as Thomas Jefferson noted, to keep criminals like Barack Obama from taking control:

The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first.

During the Constitutional convention there was little debate over the issue of immigration and so those chains were not forged with the result that the states, up until 1808, were to determine their own immigration policies, and afterwards to defer to the national government.

Consequently, when Obama asked his henchmen, Jeh Johnson and Eric Holder, to find ways he could implement the DREAM Act without having to wait for Congress to enact it, they succeeded, using the president’s discretion allowed by the Constitution under Article I, Section 4, that “he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed.”

One of the tools of a tyrant is using language to hide his true intents. For years Obama has disclaimed any such powers as he is now exercising. As a candidate back in March, 2008, he said:

Exodus of Jews From France Is Accelerating

This article first appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Friday, January 16, 2015:

On Sunday, January 11, just two days after the attacks in Paris, hundreds of French Jews attended an information fair to learn how to emigrate to Israel. Calling it an “Aliyah” fair — a Hebrew term to describe the “going up” to Jerusalem — the Jewish Agency for Israel has told its staff to prepare for an onslaught of those Jewish French citizens who have finally decided, thanks to the shootings by separate radical Islamist groups on Friday, to get out of town while the getting is still good.

Two years ago some 3,400 Jews emigrated from France, while last year that number doubled to over 7,000. It is estimated that at least another 10,000 will leave in 2015, with some observers predicting that France’s total population of 500,000 Jews will shrink by

Crude Oil Prices: The Politics, Implications, and Backlash

This article first appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Tuesday, January 6, 2015:

With the price of crude dropping significantly below $50 a barrel, prognosticators have come out of the woodwork predicting drops to $40, $30, $20 a barrel, and even lower before it rebounds.

Jon Ogg, writing at 247Wall St.com, noted that the precipitous drop in crude oil prices “has serious implications for consumers and companies alike,” and not all of them are unblemished blessings. On the surface the winners are

Islamist Front Group CAIR moves Against “Honor Diaries” film

The Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) exhibited its considerable and growing clout by forcing the cancellation of at least two showings of the film “Honor Diaries”, one scheduled for last week at the University of Michigan, the other at the University of Illinois. The film, a 2013 documentary that explores violence against women in “honor-based” societies (read: Muslim countries) through the eyes of nine women with personal experience with that violence, premiered at the Chicago International Film Festival in October 2013. One month later it won the Interfaith Award for Best Documentary at the St. Louis International Film Festival. In December it was featured on DirecTV’s Something to Talk About film series on its Audience channel.

The film focuses on three major crimes of violence committed by those societies, including

Holder’s Impeachable Offenses

This article was first published at The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Wednesday, February 12, 2014:
