Have nothing to do with the [evil] things that people do, things that belong to the darkness. Instead, bring them out to the light... [For] when all things are brought out into the light, then their true nature is clearly revealed...

Trump’s Attack on Syria vs. the (Ignored) Constitution

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Sunday, April 15, 2018:

While the U.S. attack against Syria was underway, President Donald Trump told the nation Friday night: “A short time ago, I ordered the United States armed forces to launch precision strikes on targets associated with the chemical weapons capabilities of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. A combined operation with the armed forces of France and the United Kingdom is now under way. We thank them both…. Last Saturday [April 7], the Assad regime again deployed chemical weapons to slaughter innocent civilians, this time in the town of Douma near the Syrian capital of Damascus. This massacre was a significant escalation in a pattern of chemical weapons used by that very terrible regime..”

This was a far cry from the Donald Trump before he became president. Here are just three of his tweets BP (before becoming president):

Visa Lottery Winner from Bangladesh Fails to Blow Himself up, Reignites Immigration Issue Anyway

FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorist Task Force

Blending in with the crowd of commuters rushing off to work in a Times Square subway tunnel early Monday morning, no one took notice of the immigrant from Bangladesh wearing cargo pants and a heavy coat. The NYPD didn’t know who he was, and neither did the FBI. Akayed Ullah has been in the United States, thanks to the “green card lottery,” since 2011, and in that time has had but a single brush with the law: a traffic violation.

A former taxi driver and currently an electrical worker, Ullah set off the home-made pipe bomb at 7:20 a.m. and — thanks to an apparent inability to follow instructions he downloaded from the Internet — Ullah managed only to burn himself (his hands, his stomach, and parts even lower), while slightly injuring three other commuters nearby.

The Threat to Freedom Isn’t Coming Just from Islamic Terrorists

This article was published by The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Wednesday, December 13, 2017:

Many took umbrage at the Times Square subway bomber’s family’s statement, describing it as whining, “if you don’t like it here, go home,” etc. Adding to the angst was the fact that the statement was issued by a spokesman for CAIR – the oft-maligned pro-Islamic advocacy group – that sounded awfully much like a thinly-veiled defense of Akayed Ullah:

Acting Director McCabe on Short List for FBI Post. But Should He Be?

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Monday, May 29, 2017:

With the withdrawal by former Connecticut Democrat Senator Joe Lieberman from consideration by the Trump administration for the position of FBI director, Andrew McCabe’s (shown) name is one of just four remaining names on the list. On Thursday Lieberman said he was withdrawing because of a potential conflict of interest as a result of being a lawyer in the same firm that is representing Donald Trump in the ongoing Russia/Trump investigation.

When Trump fired FBI Director James Comey on May 9,

Is North Korea’s Dictator Insane?

This article was published by The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Wednesday, May 17, 2017:

According to Ben Cohen, North Korea’s “Supreme Leader,” Kim Jong-un, is certifiably insane. Wrote Cohen: “Kim [is] executing hundreds of officials he deems to be disloyal in extraordinarily brutal fashion … shocking even hardened North Korean elites used to regular purges, random executions, and extreme torture.”

But how would his paranoia, his megalomania, inform his view of America? Would he be willing to launch an EMP attack using one or both of his satellites currently hovering over the US mainland, knowing that the missiles that would be returned from EMP-hardened missile sites here would obliterate his country, turning everything north of the 38th Parallel into glass?

He certainly has the capability to do so.

Do Trump’s Flip Flops Reflect Lack of Constitutional Understanding?

The mainstream media have rejoiced because they perceive that President Donald Trump has abandoned policies and changed long-held positions that they have considered anathema. Politico said the president has “demonstrated an incredible willingness to bend his past positions, or abandon them entirely. Sometimes he offers an explanation; sometimes not.” CNN called them “stunning U-turns on key issues” reflecting “extraordinary political shape-shifting.”

The “key issues” are Syria, Janet Yellen of the Federal Reserve, NAFTA, NATO, his hiring freeze, China’s currency manipulation, and the Export-Import Bank.

Syria tops the list currently as the president,

Progressives’ Violence Moving From Streets to Congressional Offices

House Republicans attended a closed-door meeting on Tuesday to address concerns about anti-Trump protesters entering their congressional offices and threatening them physically. House GOP Conference Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers invited one of their own — Representatives David Reichert (R-Wash.) who served as sheriff of King County, Washington — to address the group with suggestions on how to protect themselves and their staff from violence.

Reichert recounted how several angry constituents “bum-rushed” into his office, blowing past a staffer, and offered this advice:

Tom Hayden’s Passing: New York Times’ Eulogy Versus Reality

When Barbara Williams, Tom Hayden’s third wife, discovered that her husband, Tom Hayden, had died on Sunday, one of the first things she did was to let the New York Times know. He’d had a stroke last year but it didn’t incapacitate him severely enough to keep him from attending the Democratic Party’s national convention as a delegate in July. But it was enough to do him in. He fell ill while at the convention and never recovered.

Apparently she knew that the Times would treat his passing with all the dignity usually accorded one of their own:

East Coast Bomber’s Father Warned Police About His Son in 2014

This article appeared online at TheNewAmerican.com on Tuesday, September 20, 2016:

In 2014, the East Coast bomber’s father told FBI agents that his son was a terrorist. The father, Mohammad Rahami, told the New York Times:

Two years ago I go to the FBI because my son [Ahmad Khan Rahami, shown] was doing really bad, O.K.? But they check almost two months [and] they say: “He’s O.K., he’s clean, he’s not a terrorist.”

I say O.K.

It’s not OK.

Following the horrific attack by two Palestinians on unarmed worshipers at a Jerusalem synagogue on Tuesday, Israel’s public security minister, Yitzhak Aharonovitch, vowed to ease restrictions on carrying firearms for self-defense. The attack by the Palestinian cousins who wielded knives and a gun resulted in four deaths and eight seriously wounded. Police who arrived at the scene killed the attackers but only after the innocents had been slashed, shot, and murdered.

Aharonovitch announced other measures as well, including

“Historic Deal” with Iran met with praise, grave concerns and sadness

Early Sunday morning, following four days of heavy negotiations between Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (the US, Russia, China, the United Kingdom, and France – plus Germany), an agreement was announced which was touted as lifting sanctions against Iran in exchange for a reduction in Iran’s efforts to build their nuclear capability.

The deal was praised as a breakthrough

Nelson Mandela to Be Promoted to “Sainthood” by the Media at His Death

This article was first published at The McAlvany Intelligence Advisor on Wednesday, July 10th, 2013:

With the announcement of Nelson Mandela’s demise expected shortly, the mainstream media’s orchestra and chorus of praise and worship are already warming up. It no doubt will drown out any protests or exposés by thoughtful journalists who have taken the time to find out the truth about this revolutionary communist terrorist masquerading as a

The Boston Bombers have a very nasty background

I’ve seen precious little about this in the MSM and no wonder. These boys come from Chechnya which has a history of unspeakable violence for years. If I can find out about this, why can’t they?

Last Friday David French exposed the connection and I tracked down his sources just to confirm. Wrote French:

Thankfully no one is calling it the “second Boston Massacre.” There is no connection whatever between what happened there in 1770 and what happened yesterday.

But I have some thoughts, and some reassuring comments from the Heritage Foundation as well. At first
