A tax is a tax is a tax no matter how “painless” it might appear to be. And a tax is robbery, no matter how you massage it.
Reading this book is like panning for gold. You have to sort through a lot of silt to find the nuggets. But the nuggets are there.
The closer I look at the situation in Europe and the increasingly desperate efforts by “the sad little entities” to save the euro and the European Union, the more persuaded I am that this is a hoax of the first order. It was never about free trade. It was always about political tyranny to be imposed as the cure for the crisis.
She must really be corrupt to catch the attention of a George Soros-funded assault group designed to attack conservative Republicans for reputed wrongdoing. But Richardson certainly qualifies – corrupt and arrogant to boot. How do people like these get returned to office year after year?
I was very glad to have found this interview of Stanley Druckenmiller, who has enough money and moxie to tell the truth, rather than having it filtered through the Washington bureaucratic blender into pap. Sure, there’s risk in a shutdown. But the greater risk is to continue spending until no one is willing to lend any more, or the money becomes worthless, or both. Then what? Thanks, Stanley!
