Tony Kushner is the screenwriter for the movie Lincoln. Gary North has uncovered a video of Charlie Rose interviewing Kushner. It won’t take you long to come to the same conclusion: this guy is so far off the mark that anything he might have to say about Lincoln is going to be tainted and make the movie not worth your time viewing. He calls the people concerned about the growth of government as “psychotic individualists.” His brief interview is worth viewing. It’ll save you the time and money you’d spend going to see the movie.
Kushner has drunk way too much of the Progressive KoolAid. Millions are going to see Lincoln. I’m not one of them. Kushner is just another reason why.

“Armies of scholars, meticulously investigating every aspect of [Lincoln’s] life, have failed to find a single act of racial bigotry on his part.”
“I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people . . . . I as much as any man am in favor of the superior position assigned to the white race.”
